Gin & Tonic Fizz Cocktail

If you like gin + tonics, you’re going to love this recipe that I’m finally sharing (only because it would be a crime not to let you in on it). I remembered that we had a bottle of Jack Rudy tonic, but it wasn’t until I opened it that I realized it wasn’t tonic water, meaning, it wasn’t carbonated. It was tonic syrup, and so it took a little bit of time for me to get used to it. Once I mastered making gin + tonics with it, I decided to try something new, and that is how my favorite gin & tonic fizz cocktail was created!

Gin & Tonic Fizz Cocktail
  1. 2 oz. gin
  2. 1/2 oz. lemon juice
  3. 1 egg white
  4. 1/2 oz. tonic syrup
  5. 1 oz.simple syrup
  6. Bitters
  7. Champagne (optional)
  1. Shake together gin, lemon juice, and egg white until egg white is fizzy, about 30 seconds.
  2. Add tonic, simple syrup, and ice. Shake until combined.
  3. Pour over fresh ice and garnish with bitters.
  4. If desired, top with champagne.
  1. If you've never used egg white in a cocktail recipe before, don't be afraid! Both the citrus and the alcohol kill any harmful bacteria. Also, a classic fizz has club soda, but I love topping this cocktail with champagne sometimes. Enjoy!
