Inside My Bullet Journal

I started my bullet journal for the first time last year, and pretty safe to say I’m obsessed. I don’t actually use it as a planner really, more as a journal and creative outlet. My primary way to stay organized is to keep everything in Google Keep and Calendar (which keeps me on track), so my journal is really a way for me to visualize my day, dump my thoughts onto paper, and record the things that go on throughout the week and month. I thought maybe you’d like to get a peek inside my bullet journal?

First and foremost, you can read more about the bullet journal system here. It’s basically just a way to keep your brain organized by putting everything down on paper. How people actually utilize the system is different for everyone; some like to keep their spreads minimal and others, like me, use the system as a way to express their creativity. I love elaborate and colorful spreads, full of washi tape and stickers and pretty calligraphy. The one thing you need to remember is that there is no one right way to keep a bullet journal; the most important thing is that you find a system that works for you and stick with it!

This is one of my favorite spreads to date. I love how colorful and filled in it is – definitely more like a journal than a planner, since I can look back and remember what the week was like.

    1. This is so neat. I haven’t seen a bullet journal up close before. Yours is so cute! I don’t love my hand writing, but maybe I should try it out!
