I would like to say that the Stonehaus in Westlake Village is a hidden gem, but that would be lying. It’s fairly well-known, as indicated by the number of guests and families at any given time, but that doesn’t lessen just how much I love this restaurant. I still remember when it opened a few years ago; a winery, in Ventura County? I mean, okay. I quickly realized that we needed this little bit of Italian countryside in the area!
Not only does the Stonehaus have great wine and working vineyards, but their space is absolutely GORGEOUS. You would never think that the 101 is only a few feet away.
It’s a popular spot for families too, and definitely kid-friendly. With wood-fired pizzas on the spot and bocce ball courts available for play, it’s perfect for late summer nights with family and friends. I can’t wait to bring Robert and the boys back soon – I have a feeling Remi is going to love playing in the vines!
